Fascia and spouting
The fascia is the board the spouting hangs on. If it has rotted or pulled away, it may not hold new spouting properly.
When the fascia needs work too
Sometimes the fascia is sound and only the guttering needs work. If the fascia has deteriorated, it may need to be repaired or replaced before new spouting can be installed properly. We'll check both and explain what the job requires.
Timber, metal and concealed
Timber
Rot at the ends, failed fixings, a board that no longer holds the spouting straight.
Metal
Dents, corrosion at the laps, short sections that have to match the rest of the run.
Concealed
The gutter sits with or behind the fascia. Overflows matter on these. We also work on internal and concealed gutters.
